Spring Nail Polish Picks

Hi there,

a new season is approaching, so are the new trends for nail polish. We transition from the cold, cozy weather to warm and sunny days. Lately, I have an affinity for glitter and some light pastel colors. Check out my choices for this season:

Warm Beige

Forget about the girly pale pinks – this season is about creamy, and shiny beige. Its natural color makes it suitable for most skin tones. If you are looking for a low maintenance kind of manicure, but still to be trendy, this Butter nail polish is perfect for you.

Shimmery Shades

One of my recent favourites with shimmery shades is from Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring Collection. In the tone of Peace Green or Love Pink, they give a nice pearly finish and a shimmering effect. Reflecting the tones of green jasper and pink opal, they give a nice feminine look.

Periwinkle Blue

With Pantone’s release of the colors of 2016 (Rose Quartz and Serenity) it is only logical to implement them in our manicure as well. For the upcoming season I like a calming periwinkle blue or any pastel version of blue. A good choice for me is by Essie Bikini So Teeny.

Plum Nail Polish

A plum shade is the perfect color to transition us as the weather gets warmer. For Spring I like a lighter shade of it, rather a deep-plum one. I like Plum Seduction from Revlon, with its beautiful intense bright fuchsia/plum color.original_CW

According to the runways, it is the perfect time to add some silver in our manicure. I really like it for this season as thy are really ease to combine with rather than other natural colors. The combination of shiny silver from Smith & Cult in Teen Cage Riot color and pastel blue is one of my top choices.

Would you try these nail polish colors? Comment below. 🙂
